Championing accessible design principles
My goal for EXISTENCE: To dismantle barriers and invite a broader audience to discover the beauty and depth of art
The concept of EXISTENCE was crafted using Cinema 4D's 3D modelling capabilities. It is an immersive space designed to captivate and engage audiences through all senses. This conceptual environment prioritises accessibility, ensuring that every visitor can fully participate without barriers.
I integrated materials, textures, contrasts, and the suggestion of aroma to promote inclusivity. Each zone stimulates a different sense, featuring dynamic shadow sculptures, tactile surfaces, and interactive learning zones. My aim was to deliver an artistic experience that resonates intellectually and emotionally, transcending mere visual engagement.
Extensive research guided every design choice to meet diverse audience needs from the outset. Accessibility was paramount, with considerations such as sound, lighting, and tactile cues creating a safe space for all, including those with disabilities.
