Commissioned by Sunderland Creatives Agency
Client: South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust
Spearheaded by South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust, this project aims to rekindle patients' love for food and support their recovery. The cookbook features recipes crafted by patients and offers practical meal guidance from the onset of treatment, addressing needs highlighted by former patients.

As the designer for this project, I worked closely with Sunderland Creatives Agency, and University of Sunderland photography students, to create an authentic, homemade feel for the cookbook. My goal was to ensure it resonates with its heartfelt mission and the community it serves.
Throughout the development of this brief, I focused on incorporating personal touches within the final copy, including references to patient specific goals, ingredients, and scrapbooking.
Shortlisted for the 2024 Medilink Healthcare Business Awards, for the Partnership with the NHS Secondary Care category
"I couldn't fault the team at Sunderland Creatives Agency and all the hard work Liam put into this project. They totally understood the brief, shared our enthusiasm for it and supported its execution to an exceptional standard. Communication was excellent, and they supported me- a novice in graphic design, who'd never commissioned anything like this before- to find a way to give constructive feedback that helped the design student shape the perfect product. Thank you!"
